Present!!!

So... several weeks ago my friend and roommate, Polly, bought me some makeups on a whim. She left me an awesome note as well. When I thanked her, she qualified her gift; stating that she knows I prefer mineral makeup, but couldn't resist the vibrant colors and cheap price. Ladies, and all of you will agree, for makeup lovers (addicts?) a gift of free makeup is, well, a gift of free makeup! ^_- While I do tend to prefer more natural, I like to look at gifts such as this as an opportunity to share some cheapie goodness with the select few who follow my blog. So... follows are some swatches. As you can see, I swatched on my hand and forearm with the colors in the same position as the case. The pictures really don't show the vibrancy as well as real life, but I was quite impressed.

What do you think?

More fotd goodness....

Today was another blizzcon t-shirt inspired look... but it was also inspired by Blix's awesome look the other day.

Ok...
ANF oily lid primer in dark buff
Shiro Squirtle to create an elongated cat eye (defined crease?) and to outer 1/3 lower lashline (for good measure)
fyrinnae pixie epoxy all over lid
Morgana minerals Harbinger to lid
concrete minerals lithium mixed with water above squirtle
NYX jumbo pencil in milk to inner 2/3 lower lashline, inner v, and to highlight
e.l.f. liquid liner to upper lashline (extended out, to create wing)
100% pure mascara in black tea
Face was the wet n' wild natural blend pressed powder; applied with a small kabuki brush
Fyrinnae fluff to set
Cheeks were Meow Fetish (again)
Lips spell cosmetics in silence

blizzcon inspired

Halooo!
So... Today's look was inspired by my blizzcon 2010 t-shirt.

Concrete minerals primer
nyx jumbo pencil milk to lower lashline and inner v
GDE Mingles to outer 1/3 lower lashline and cut crease; blended up
GDE Ladies night layered over mingles on 1/3 lower lashline and outer portion of cut crease
fyrinnae pixie epoxy under crease
concrete minerals ether to inner 1/3 lid
Meow novel nympho to middle 1/3 lid
Meow bender to outer 1/3 lid
e.l.f. liquid liner silver to inner 2/3 lower lashline
disco white to inner 2/3 lower lashline and inner v
100% pure mascara black tea
e.l.f. liquid liner black

Cheeks were Meow Fetish
I used a little bit of the wet n' wild natural blend pressed powder to my face, as well.
fyrinnae fluff to set

Also, my friend did a killer blue look today, too... Not sure exactly what she used, but I seem to recall mostly Fyrinnae pigments.

Playing catch up

ok... I've been SUPER busy the past couple of months. However, I did manage to snap a couple photos of some neat-o looks. Unfortunately, I don't have the products for most of them. (I know, epic fail). I'm hoping to have enough time to start posting again regularly. (fingers crossed....)

My friend, Rita, did this look for me.

This was my halloween look. I have more pictures on the facebook.

The next group of photos is using all concrete minerals eyeshadow. If I remember correctly, I used arsenic, ether, and lithium

I can't find the other picture of this look... but I LOVE it! The lashes remind me of Sally, Nightmare before Christmas style!
